Important Information for My Schools

Policies:
We have a NO QUIT policy. Instrumental music is considered a class. A student signs up to participate for the entire year.

If a student quits prior to the end of the year and is using a school instrument they will not be issued a school instrument the following year. If they wish to play another instrument the next year they will need to rent or purchase one.

If the student finishes the year on the instrument and decides they wish to play a different one the following year they can rent, purchase or apply for a school instrument.

“I forgot my instrument” policy:
Classrooms will NOT be interrupted to inform the student that their instrument has been delivered to the school by a parent or other adult after the school day begins (8:55).

The student is allowed to check in the office on their way to their lesson to see if the instrument has been brought in.

Teachers will not allow students to call home to have the instrument delivered.

A missed lesson due to not having the instrument is unexcused.
